A MAN has been found dead within a home in the city's South Side.
The 57-year-old was discovered in a house in Butterbiggins Road, Govanhill on Sunday evening.
Last night, police cars were parked outside the property close to Cathcart Road and specialist forensic officers were also at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious but a post mortem examination is expected to take place to establish how he died.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Around 6.10 pm on Sunday, May 31, a 57-year-old man was found dead within a house in Butterbiggins Road, Glasgow.
"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death which is not being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
