A van has caught fire between junction one and two of the M77
A VAN has caught fire on a busy South Side road near Silverburn.
Emergency services are currently on the scene between junction one and two of the M77.
One lane has been closed amid reports black smoke has covered sections of the motorway.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary: Covid vaccine for NHS workers faces delays
Traffic Scotland reported the incident, writing: "Lane 1 (of 2) is closed due to a vehicle fire. Traffic is heavy on approach."
The Glasgow Times has contacted Police Scotland and the Scottish fire and Rescue Service for comment.
