POLICE were called to the Athlete's Village this morning following the sudden death of a man.
The Glasgow Times reported earlier today that officers were on the scene in the East End from 6.25am.
A street was cordoned off and a police officer seen guarding the area.
Police Scotland has now said the body of a man was found but there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will go to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called around 6.25am on Monday, July 5, 2021, following a report of a sudden death of a man near Kingston Place, Glasgow.
"The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."

Police officers and an ambulance crew were called to the East End location around 6.25am this morning.
Locals had said police in what appeared to be forensics suits were at the cycle path that runs behind Sydney Crescent and along the River Clyde.
Until early afternoon there were three police vehicles and a van at the scene.
A section of a street was taped off and police officers were guarding the cordon.
