Janey Godley has given fans an update on her cancer journey while “dreading” a chemotherapy appointment.
The brave 62-year-old Glasgow comedian shared a video of her on way to treatment while she battles terminal ovarian cancer.
She opened up about working on “welcoming poison” into her body as it fights her “chronic” condition.
We previously reported how Janey has been informing fans of her battle after being diagnosed in November 2021.

The brave comedian then underwent a full hysterectomy, after which she was given the all clear.
However tragically she was then told chemotherapy treatment was “back on the cards” as the cancer returned in December 2022.
Now in her latest update she kept her famous sense of humour by saying her hair is “holding out” during treatment along with her “moustache and beard”.

In the video she said: “I'm up early for the chemo, I am getting it weekly just now hopefully that will stave off the old chronic cancer.
“Well done the Beatson, the Beatson has just been amazing. It is a bit chilly and cold, but I am looking forward to getting this over today.
“Every single week when I get chemo I dread it and then I remember this is what is actually killing the cancer, and then I welcome it.
“It’s weird to welcome a poison into your body, but I am getting there.
“Thanks to everybody who has been supporting me, and my hair is holding out, it still has not all fallen out yet.
“My eyelashes have, and my moustache is still growing which is very important. I have even a wee beard because nature you know, why the f*** would it not. Thanks everybody!”
