TWO men have appeared in court charged with an alleged murder bid in Paisley.
Damon McDowall, 24, and Cameron Woods, 25, were both charged with attempted murder at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.
McDowall was also charged with threatening or abusive behaviour and breaching his bail conditions.
The pair, who are both from Paisley, made no plea during their appearances.
They were remanded in custody while further examination is carried out and are set to appear in court again within the next eight days.
It comes after we previously reported that a 26-year-old man was left fighting for his life.
Cops raced to the Maxwellton Street area of the town on Sunday, July 23, at around 5.30pm following an incident.
The man was then rushed to hospital with “life-threatening” injuries.
