According to legend, Shish Mahal's founder, the late Ali Ahmed Aslam, invented the dish at his restaurant in the 1970s with a can of tomato soup after a customer complained that his meal was 'too dry'.

In the short video, Ryan and Jade say: "Today we're in Glasgow, the birthplace of chicken tikka masala.

"After some research, it turns out Mr Ali created this dish in his restaurant Shish Mahal back in the 1970s.

"We've travelled to Glasgow to see if the original really is the best."

Upon trying the dish, Jade says it is "delicious" and spicier than she was expecting.

Ryan meanwhile says: "Tender, spicy, fantastic."
