More than 100 jobs will be available at Glasgow Fort’s jobs fair later this week.

Jobseekers will be able to browse with over 10 employers offering opportunities, including Hotel Chocolate, Boots and Wagamama’s.

Taking place on Thursday, September 28, there will be a range of positions available including sales assistants, supervisors, chefs and more at retailers and restaurants at the shopping centre and across the city centre.

It will be based at a pop-up unit adjacent to the card factory and opposite JD Sports, from 10 am until 5pm.

Representatives from the brands will be available to provide further information and helpful advice for applicants, and there will also be a series of CV workshops, as well as the chance to book one-to-one employability support sessions.

Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “It’s great to be partnering with so many of the UK’s leading brands - the event is shaping up to be our biggest jobs fair to date!

“The jobs fair will provide people in our community with the opportunity to have face-to-face contact with potential employers and access to a range of resources and career advice.

“I’d encourage anyone interested in a career in retail or leisure, or those looking for a new challenge to come along, see what’s on offer.”
