Police are still investigating an incident where a flag displaying a Nazi symbol was seen at a game at the weekend.
We previously reported that a flag depicting a Totenkopf (skull and crossbones) was seen in Ibrox stadium during Saturday's fixture against Aberdeen.
The symbol became associated with the Nazi Party during World War II and was depicted on the uniforms of the 3rd SS Panzer, an elite division of the SS, which was given the nickname 'Death's Head Division'.
Cops have said that they are aware of the flag and that they are continuing to investigate it.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were made aware of a banner at a football match at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Ibrox bosses previously revealed that an investigation has been launched.
A spokesperson for Rangers said: "Clearly, this flag is absolutely unacceptable and the club condemns the displaying of it within our stadium in the strongest possible terms.
"The club can confirm an investigation is now underway."
