Car crash sparks travel chaos on busy Glasgow motorway (Image: Newsquest)
A CAR crash has sparked rush-hour travel chaos on Glasgow's M8 motorway.
Amey has said the accident has taken place on the motorway's eastbound carriageway at junctions 21 and 20.
Lanes one and two have been closed due to the incident while emergency services deal with it.
Drivers are being urged to approach with care.
It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured due to the smash.

A spokesperson for Amey SW Trunk Roads said: "M8 Eastbound, Junctions 21 - 20.
"Lanes one and two closed due to RTC. Police on scene. Approach with care."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
