A 999 response was called to an incident near a Glasgow train station.
Transport cops and paramedics were seen near Queens Park station in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They were called to a report of a person on the tracks.
Paramedics assisted and the person was removed from the line and taken to safety.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Queens Park railway station at around 2.46am on Sunday following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
"Officers attended alongside paramedics and a person was taken to a place of safety."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 2.36am on April 7 to attend an incident on Coplaw Street, Govanhill, Glasgow.
"An ambulance, paramedic response car and two special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
