AN INDEPENDENT cafe bar has revealed plans to open a second location in Glasgow.
Spitfire Espresso is described as a laid-back espresso bar serving coffee, cafe-style food and light bites.
The Candleriggs cafe will now expand to the West End, with plans for another venue to open in the Woodlands area.
A spokesperson said on Instagram: "We are very excited to be opening another Spitfire Espresso, this time in the west.
"We're at the very early stages of a full-on renovation so we'll announce the official opening date in a couple of months - but at least the sign is up! Stay tuned for updates."
Customers were buzzing to hear the news of the expansion.
One said: "Great stuff, now I can get my all-time favourite coffee in both of my favourite parts of the city. Also those brownies! Ooft."
Another wrote: "Congratulations guys! I'm well chuffed for you."
A third chimed: "Awesome! I can't wait to see it next time I'm in town."
