NATHAN PATTERSON has returned to Everton for an urgent scan on his knee injury, according to reports.
The Scotland international was stretchered off for his country during last night's 3-0 win over Ukraine.
Patterson has since posted on Instagram saying: "Thanks for all the messages last night.
"Really appreciate the support. The boys were great from start to finish."
The Daily Record now report that Patterson has returned to his club for treatment on his knock and a scan will take place to determine the severity of the injury.
After the game, Steve Clarke commented on the Ibrox academy graduate's injury.
He told Premier Sports: "It doesn't look too good when he goes off on a stretcher.
"He obviously felt something on his leg, we'll just wait and see what the medics say and how it pans out.
"Hopefully, it's not too serious and hopefully he's not out too long."
