GRINDLAY - Robert Fraser 1930 - 2021 Robert (Bert) Fraser Grindlay passed away peacefully in the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday, 11th April, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary Ann, our daughter Jane, his brothers James, Thomas, David and his sister Peggy. Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Margaret 66 years and many nieces and nephews. Bert was an Active member of St Andrews United Church in Chateauguay for over 60 years with his love for music was also a member of the choir. Bert loved his golf at Kanawake in the summer, Scotland in the fall, and Florida in the winter with his American buddies. Bert was a very kind and caring person ready to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all. As a friend said "He can now sing with the Angels". Many Thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff for the care my Husband received. A private family visitation was held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt, Cornwall, Ontario on Tuesday 13th April, 2021. A grave side service will take place with family and friends at Bishopton Cemetery in Renfrewshire, Scotland, on 7th May, 2021 at 2.30pm. 'Rest in Peace Bert'.
