RULES FORTHE MANAGEMENT OF CEMETERIES
Renfrewshire Council give notice it intends to make management rules for the management of Renfrewshire Council Cemeteries. The proposed rules are to regulate the use of, and conduct of persons, while in or on, any cemetery.
The proposed rules would be made in accordance with Section 112 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 and the penalties and implications asset out in sections 116 to 118 of that Act would apply in the event of any breach of the proposed rules, once made.
Copies of the proposed rules are available for inspection during normal office hours at the Customer Contact Centre, Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley PA1 1BU and also available on the Renfrewshire Council website:-
Any person may, within one month after the date of this notice, notify in writing his or her objection and the grounds of his or her objections to Renfrewshire Council. The council shall take into consideration any objection timeously received and give the objector an opportunity to be heard by them.
