Breaking Dad: holiday fun for Sophia
A rare week off work for mum and dad meant a jaunt to St Andrews for a couple of days with our little one.

At the age of 34, and 13 years of it being just my wife and I and the responsibility of looking after our cat, we finally decided – much to the delight of both of our parents – to disrupt our cat's life and have a baby.
Breaking Bad follows my journey as a new dad, and the ups and downs of looking after my little girl.

Since the day she was born she's been used to either myself or my wife snapping a quick picture of her on our smartphone or camera.
With mum at work I felt like a change of scenery from the usual play park or soft play visit, so decided to head to the pool.
Occasionally falling over as she scampers round our living room and in the kitchen.
I thought that must just have been an exaggeration and would never be something I would have to endure.
Actually, not much has changed as she's now moaning constantly with teething!
People told me before she was born that it would be a shock to the system, and they were right.
She has even started crawling up the stairs as I stand nervously behind her.
Another glance at the baby monitor tells another story. As the days, weeks and months have gone on, we have had many interesting nights as Sophia's sleeping ritual has changed. Due to skin allergies, it's often a battle to ensure our little one doesn't scratch herself to pieces.
