SCREAMING fans went weak at the knees as their pop hero took to the stage in Glasgow.
A crowd of thousands, most of them female, welcomed Robbie Williams to Hampden Park for the first of his two Glasgow gigs on his 'Take the Crown' tour.
He belted out all the old classics as well as a performance of his recent No 1 Candy and his latest single, Goin' Crazy, a duet with British rap star Dizzee Rascal.
The former Take That star, 39, played Hampden last night and will play again tonight.
It is Robbie's first full tour for more than six years.
Olly Murs warmed up the crowds with hits from his three chart-topping albums, before Robbie appeared from a 15-metre tall cast of his own head that hovered above the stage.
Real Radio's Paul Harper got the party started in the stadium from 6.30pm, and bars and restaurants across Glasgow enticed fans in for pre-concert meals and drinks with special offers.
Robbie-mania had already hit the city last month when a fleet of Robbie Williams-branded taxis hit the city's streets, courtesy of tour sponsor Samsung,
Robbie first took to the stage at Hampden in 2006 and returned again in 2011.
