ELECTRONIC artist Goldie is to perform a new classically inspired work at Glasgow Cathedral.
The gold-toothed drum 'n' bass musician has written a new composition - Fragments of Gold - incorporating sacred music that was discovered in 2009.
The 48-year-old's composition takes its inspiration from the medieval Hawick Missal Fragment, a section of a missal - a book containing the texts and chants for a mass - which was discovered in Hawick in 2009.
Fragments of Gold will take place at Glasgow Cathedral on Saturday August 30 at 7pm. Tickets cost £15 for adults, £13 for concessions and £10 for children.
