POP duo Gallagher and Lyle will be special guests on a national radio show this week from Glasgow as part of the BBC's music output from the city during the Commonwealth Games.
The singer-songwriters will be on Radio's 2's Ken Bruce Show on Thursday morning.
In 1968, Benny Gallagher, from Largs, and Graham Lyle, from Bellshill, were signed by The Beatles to write for Apple Records' artists. They are best known for the songs Heart On My Sleeve and I Wanna Stay With You.
