Coronation Street star Simon Gregson is set to become a father for the third time.
The actor, who plays Steve McDonald in the soap, made the announcement by posting a snap of himself sporting a "beer" belly and his wife Emma Gleave with a baby bump, on Twitter.
While Gregson, 40, had the word "beer" scrawled on his stomach, Gleave had "baby" written on her bump.
The actor accompanied the picture with the words: "After a stressful few months... myself and Emma Gleave are excited to announce..."
Gregson has been married to Gleave, his long-term partner, since 2010 and the couple have two sons - seven-year-old Alfie and five-year-old Harry - together.
Gregson's past and present co-stars, including Georgia May Foote, Catherine Tyldesley and Shobna Gulati, sent their congratulations, as well as soap mother Beverley Callard who wrote: "Oh so thrilled."
Gregson is not the only Corrie star to have announced baby news recently - Samia Ghadie revealed last month that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon.
