A new football anthem is capturing the spirit of Scotland supporters.
IRN-BRU has unveiled We’re Made in Scotland from Girders, a bold, tongue-in-cheek rallying cry celebrating football fans and their unwavering spirit.
The anthem stars a standout cast, including Susan Boyle, Scotland midfielder John McGinn, Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos, comedian Paul Black, and 71-year-old viral star May Miller.
A reimagining of the 1980s IRN-BRU advert, the track is a love letter to Scottish supporters and the quirks of following football—taking aim at everything from ticket prices and late nights to America’s infamous tipping culture.

Susan Boyle said: “I never thought I’d be belting out an anthem on top of a bridge or breakdancing but it just goes to show that anything’s possible when you’re Made in Scotland from Girders.
“It’s been brilliant fun, a bit bonkers but in the best way. The anthem is for the fans and everyone loudly showing their support - carrying the roar of a nation with them, from the first kick to the final whistle.”

The song’s chorus is joined by a show-stopping Susan Boyle bridge section, introduced by John McGinn and belted out on top of the iconic Forth Bridge.
Fans are then treated to a scene of the singer breakdancing in front of a crowd.
The anthem also features Alex Kapranos tearing through a blistering guitar solo, and Paul Black delivering a comedic take on the oddities of American culture that may greet travelling fans.

Standout lyrics include "Then clench those buttcheeks and pray," "We may not be the pundit’s favourites to win, but what we lack in flair is made up with McGinn," and "We’re made in Scotland from girders / Where there’s girders there’s a way."

Kenny Nicholson, Director of Brand at IRN-BRU, said: “Scotland fans have experienced it all during the last 28 years - the true definition of being Made from Girders.
“This moment is decades in the making and this anthem is a rallying cry for the fans. It celebrates what it means to be a supporter. We can’t wait to hear it being bellowed out as they follow the action this summer - whether that’s watching home or away.”
The music video was shot across iconic locations in Glasgow before moving to the scenic shores of Loch Lomond.
The song launched on IRN-BRU’s social channels today and will be available to stream on Spotify tomorrow.
We’re Made in Scotland from Girders is the latest in IRN-BRU’s long tradition of sports campaigns, shining a spotlight on fans and the memorable moments that make supporting Scotland such a unique experience.
