THE nights have drawn in, it's definitely getting colder and the heating has been cranked up.
It's lovely to be cosy inside but frosty weather and stuffy rooms play havoc with skin, particularly if it's on the dry side.
I'm not a regular user of body scrubs, it rates fairly low down on my list of beauty priorities but I'm aware of their benefits.
There is no point slathering on layers of rich moisturiser if it's just sitting on the surface of the skin.
Beauty experts tell us sloughing off the old layers will allow the product to sink in properly.
Aveda's Beautifying Radiance Polish smells heavenly. It's enriched with organic plant oils including uplifting Bergamot and calming lavendar and I'm immediately transported to the spa.
The product also contains mineral-rich salt crystals to help polish away surface cells and improve the clarity of skin tone.
I try it in the shower before going away for a week in sun and am pleasantly surprised by the results. My skin is softer than it usually feels with a layer of moisturiser.
It's quite pricey at £36 but a little goes a long way and it really is a treat to use. It might even convince me to shed my skin a little more often.
A fab four stars.
