LASH extensions might seem high maintenance for every day use but they actually dramatically cut the morning beauty routine. They prettify and define the eyes so much you can skip mascara and eyeliner.

Love Those Lashes was launched in Glasgow’s Charing Cross in 2014 by sisters Gemma and Erika Lang after they identified a gap in the local market for quality lash and brow work and a second salon opened in Shawlands area shortly after.

The salons specialise in classic technique extensions, handmade Russian Volume technique extensions, lash lifts, and brow treatments.

My eye shape is not really suited to the full impact of Russian Volume lashes and I think if you are a little older less is more. I opted for a classic set, with a bit more oomph at the outer corners to elongate my eyes.

Glasgow Times:

Prepare to spend at least an hour with your eyes closed but the technicians are meticulous so make the most of it and relax.

Every customer leaves with a little kit including a lash comb and a little chocolate which is a lovely touch.

I'm delighted with the finished look, it's super flattering and fluttery and should last three to four weeks although infills are recommended to keep the lashes looking full.

Glasgow Times:

Next month the brand will be releasing their own strip-lash product range, to allow customers and makeup professionals alike the chance to get that chic glamorous lash look any time.

Lash extension treatments start at £45.
