BEAUTY guru Sali Hughes says they are one of the best anti-ageing tools, short of going under the surgeon’s knife.

Eyelash extensions give a flattering lift to the entire face and might just persuade cosmetic addicts to go make-up free.

Robyn McLean was one of the first beauticians to offer lash extensions in Glasgow and her appointments are booked up weeks in advance.

Glasgow Times:

I’m looking for volume but subtle length and Robyn suggests a hybrid style, where shorter Russian Volume lashes are interspersed with longer Classic lashes for a staggered look, that is popular with celebrities including Kim Kardashian.

It’s a long process (around two hours from start to finish) but the entire appointment is trouble free. I’ve experienced slight stinging with extensions before but under Robyn’s expert hands, there is absolutely no discomfort.

I’m delighted with the end result. It’s soft and fluttery but still eye-catching.

Glasgow Times:

A major plus point is that the natural fall-out of the lashes is barely noticeable as the weeks go on and I think I’ve found my extensions style.

Prices start at £50 for classic, £60 for hybrid and £80 for Russian volume. For bookings call 0141 258    1010.
