I was given a sample of Tom Ford's waterproof foundation a few years ago and it's still going strong, just.

It comes out for special occasions because it's the best I've ever used. For those who don't like full coverage it might not be the base for you and I don't really have problem skin but on nights out it creates a wonderful blank canvas, leaving my skin looks far better in photographs and has brilliant staying power.

Tom Ford's new Traceless Soft Matte version comes in 40 different shades and is a little less full on in its coverage so would suit those who prefer a more natural look.

Glasgow Times:

It contains soft-focus microsphere powders ot help blur imperfections and is packed with the anti-ageing miracle ingredient Hyaluronic Acid as well as being humidity and sweat resistant.

It also promises to improve the skin's texture with repeated use.

As with most things, you get what you pay for. It's a hefty £66 but the results are almost as good as my Tom Ford go-to foundation and I'd be more inclined to use this one (sparingly) every day.
