Renowned street artist Banksy has a few surprises up his sleeve for fans amid the Cut and Run exhibit at the GoMA.

Day tickets for the popular retrospective show sold out weeks ago, but now people will be able to turn up late on Friday and Saturday nights for the museum's all-night 'graveyard shift' sessions.

Glasgow Times:

Visitors to the late-night sessions will come face to face with death itself - in the form of Banksy's life-size, scythe-wielding Grim Reaper, who will be prowling Royal Exchange Square in a remote-controlled dodgem car to the tune of the Bee Gee's 'Stayin Alive'.

Those who feel "overcome by the experience" can head to local favourite Max's Bar on Queen Street, which will be serving free Irn-Bru margaritas, courtesy of Banksy himself.

Attendees who visit Cut and Run between 10pm and 5am on Fridays and Saturdays from tonight will be given a token at the sessions which can be exchanged for the free libation at Max's. It can be claimed anytime until August 28.

Customers who are not ticket holders for the Banksy Exhibition will be able to buy the cocktail for £5.95 from 10pm on Friday, July 21.

The official Banksy Irn Bru Margarita uses Barrs Irn Bru syrup supplied by Dunns, Vivir Tequila, Dry Curacao, topped with soda, fresh lime and a mini Traffic Cone in homage to the work which Banksy called his "favourite work of art in the UK."

Dario Bernardi, the owner of Max's Bar, said: "We were obviously excited when Banksy's team asked us to develop an Irn Bru Margarita for guests to the Cut & Run exhibition - and with any major project we took it very seriously.

"Working with our suppliers, we were able to turn round the design, development and supply of our very own Irn Bru Margarita - The Banksy - and we can only hope that the real Banksy will be in to try one sometime!"

The team at Max's Bar tested 15 different versions of an Irn Bru Margarita before settling on their final recipe, with the support of Mangrove and Dunn's Food & Drink who helped source ingredients at short notice.

Banksy's Cut and Run exhibition charts the renowned graffiti artist's career. It will be at the GoMa until August 28. For more information, click here.
