A food takeaway will take over a vacant bookmaker's in Glasgow.
Applicant Sava Estates was given permission by the council to convert the unused building at 481 Aikenhead Road into a hot food takeaway.
The eatery will be located at the 100 sq m area and consist of a customer area, servery, kitchen, toilet and storage area.
Previously, the unit was a Betfred office, which closed down.
According to documents, "it is anticipated that opening hours will befrom 10am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and from 10am to midnight on Friday and Saturday."
The application was accepted by Glasgow City Council this week.
