A ROCK band has cancelled its upcoming Glasgow gig due to illness.
Squeeze, who are best known for hits including Black Coffee in Bed and Tempted, were due to perform at Kelvingrove Bandstand as part of Summer Nights at the Bandstand on Saturday, August 5.
However, the band announced on Instagram that due to guitarist Glenn Tilbrook taking ill they have had to cancel the show.

Guitarist Chris Difford said: "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but Glenn has been taken ill and is unable to perform this weekend.
"I'm sure everyone will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery."
Fans of the band sent well wishes to Glenn following the announcement.
One person wrote: "Praying for Glenn’s timely recovery. Your well-being is what matters. Feel better kind soul."
Another said: "Take good care and feel better soon."
A third person added: "Hope Glenn recovers quickly. So looking forward to the bandstand gig too. Ah well. Best wishes Glenn."
Ticket holders are being advised to contact their original point of purchase.
