A popular vegan bakery has confirmed the location of its second shop as part of an anticipated new partnership.

Plant Blonde will be opening inside the Lush flagship store on Buchanan Street which is set to open this December.

Sharing the news with thousands of fans on Instagram, the owners said they were "very grateful" for the new location.

They wrote: "Lush brand new anchor store and spa opening this December.

"Plant Blonde number two will be based inside the gorgeous new store where you can find all our cakes, bakes, food and speciality coffee."

Magz Macphee-David, Lush Glasgow manager, added: "We are so, so excited to be working with Jen, Mark and the team and bringing their award-winning pastries into the town centre." 

Plant Blonde has been a viral success since owner Jennifer Walls first opened on Hyndland Street in Partick with partner Marc Sorbie in 2022.

Dozens of supportive fans reacted to the announcement.

One person wrote: "Congrats guys, can't think of a better collaboration."

A second person added: "Congratulations this is so cool."

"Very excited to have you as part of our Lush family," said one user.

Another said: "Absolutely buzzing about this, can’t wait to be working with you."

The new location will be at 98 Buchanan Street, Glasgow city centre G1 3HA.
