An Italian restaurant in Bearsden has gone on the market just six months after a major rebrand.

Oi Mamma on Milngavie Road is inviting offers for the "rarely available restaurant opportunity".

The restaurant, which previously traded as Raffaelle's, was revamped in February this year by the team behind The Loveable Rogue.

Now, the owners have put the premises on the market "due to a change in personal circumstances".

The unit is located near popular eateries like Beat 6, Loop & Scoop, and Romy's.

We previously reported that Malaga Tapas was set to open in Bearsden in the coming weeks.

The recently refurbished restaurant can seat 80 covers plus bar and outdoor seating.

As Raffaelle's in 2022, the turnover was at £853,505 net of VAT.

A spokesperson for Smith&Clough Business Associates, who are marketing the property have described the unit as "stunning and stylish".

Glasgow Times:

They said: "The restaurant has been in our client’s family since opening back in June 2015 and traded for the majority of this time as Raffaelle’s, before rebranding at the start of 2023 to Oi Mamma, so the business has been long established as a family-run, neighbourhood, Italian Restaurant.

"It is only due to a change in personal circumstances that the decision has been made to sell the business.

"The business has a long track record of serving quality, freshly made Italian cuisine such as pizzas and pastas etc, and enjoys a tremendous reputation and a loyal and regular customer base, with many locals and regulars, as well as benefitting from tourists, day-trippers, and people using the local amenities.

"Despite being a long-established Italian restaurant, the premises could easily be adapted to suit a different style of cuisine should a new owner wish to do so."
