A retail giant has been given the go-ahead to move into an empty unit in Glasgow city centre.
Health and wellbeing brand Holland & Barrett had submitted an application to take over 229 Buchanan Street earlier this year.
The unit was the former home of Topshop and it has remained empty since closing in 2020.
Now Glasgow City Council has granted the retailer permission to open there subject to conditions.
Holland & Barrett put in plans to put up signs and alter the front of the building, including the doors.
When it opens, the store will be the third in the city centre, as the chain already has shops on Queen Street and Sauchiehall Street.
