A beloved Italian restaurant in Glasgow has confirmed the opening day of its new venue.
As the Glasgow Times reported in July, Santa Lucia in Merchant City has announced the opening of its new venue in the West End.
The joint will take over the former Tony Macaroni unit on Byres Road.
Today, the opening day was released to be Thursday, September 21.
Previously, the site was due to open in September, but according to the post, it was pushed back due to "technical issues".

It read: "We’re postponing our grand opening to a slightly later date because with new ventures comes new challenges and we were faced with some during our renovations (unforeseen technical issues).
"But rather than rushing, we prefer to open the restaurant at a glacial pace, ensuring our guests are happy, safe and served only the highest quality of handmade pasta!"
