Two Marks & Spencer stores are set to reopen after major transformations.

As part of a £10 million investment, the Glasgow West End M&S on Crow Road and the Bishopbriggs Food Hall will reopen later this month.

The West End Retail Park store will reopen to customers on Tuesday, September 19 after expanding into an unoccupied neighbouring unit to create a 15,000 sq ft Foodhall.

The Bishopbriggs store, which has been closed for six weeks, will reopen on Monday, September 25 after a makeover.

Inside the new M&S Foodhalls, shoppers will be treated to a new fresh-market feel with a selection of cheeses, produce, bakery, wine shop, and new lower prices on the firm's Remarksable ranges.

Both shops will also have digital click & collect and scan and shop facilities so customers can skip the queue and pay right away via the M&S app.

Percy Pig will be on hand to welcome shoppers at both stores where the teams will be handing out 200 golden tickets to the first customers through the door at each opening.

Every golden ticket holder is guaranteed a win – whether it’s a free bag of Percy Pigs or freshly baked cookies from the new M&S Bakery, and to mark the occasion one lucky customer will win a £200 voucher.

Scott Munro, regional manager for Scotland West, said: “The countdown is well and truly on for both stores to welcome customers to their transformed stores.

"It’s been a busy few months in Glasgow and both teams have worked incredibly hard putting things together.

"We’re really excited to welcome customers through the doors of both West End and Bishopbriggs to take advantage of the extra space and new features in both Foodhalls.”

Glasgow West End M&S Foodhall is located in West End Retail Park, Crow Road, Partick, Glasgow, G11 7RY and launches its new store at 10 am on Tuesday 19th September.

Bishopbriggs M&S Foodhall is located at Unit 13, Strathkelvin Retail Park, Crosshill Road, Glasgow, G64 2TS and reopens at 10am on Monday 25th September.
