PRIMARY pupils embarked on a food adventure and savoured a lot of new tastes.
Jacqueline Jeffrey, 9, above, was one of the youngsters from Glasgow's Aultmore Park Primary School who dived in to enjoy what as on offer at the launch of Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight.
The Fortnight, which runs until September 21, promotes the wealth of produce available in Scotland and offers people the chance to learn about Scottish products.
A dozen pupils from the Easterhouse school embraced their Fortnight food adventure challenge and got green- fingered digging out fresh and seasonal vegetables from the school's allotment.
