The Taggart detective duo also posed for photographs with delighted workers Scott Hooper and Finn Wright.

Scott, a business provisioning coordinator, said: "It was a huge surprise to hear Taggart was visiting the office. I was eager to meet the cast as I'm a massive fan of the show.

"Colin and Blythe were fantastic, spending a great deal of time speaking to us about the show."

Scott was delighted to get snapped with the TV stars and added: "I collect photos I've had taken with celebrities and this one will take pride of place on my mantelpiece."
