ONE of the UK's most talented soul and jazz singers is to perform in Glasgow.
Eska Mtungwazi will play at the Old Fruitmarket on March 26 as part of the 2008 Tune Up tours.
Eska has been dubbed the "Queen of UK soul" and her style has been compared to Roberta Flack.
Now in its fifth year, Tune Up takes a diverse range of music from traditional to experimental to cabaret across Scotland.
Ian Smith, head of music at the Scottish Arts Council, said: "Eska brings a fresh approach to blend soulful jazz with the more acoustically-influenced folk and world music."
