MORE companies are making improvements to their call centres, it was claimed today.
Glasgow-based Customer Contact Association reported a 50% rise in the uptake of professional standards last year.
The CCS is responsible for driving up standards, and bosses say more firms appear keen to satisfy customers.
Chief executive Anne Marie Forsyth said: "Companies use contact centres to the extent customers have no alternative, so it's vital we get it right."
