A MAN caught in his cocaine packaging "factory" with a quarter million pound consignment of the drug has been jailed for four years.
Steven Larwood's family had re-mortgaged their home in a bid to free him from drug dealers' clutches - but the 23-year-old tried to pay off the rest of his £27,000 debt by creating the packaging operation in Ruchazie, Glasgow.
James Maxwell, 20, was locked up for three years yesterday for his part in the scheme.
Maxwell was to move into the flat but Larwood said he could use it as somewhere to make kilo "bricks" from powder cocaine while it was empty.
Lord Brodie told the High Court in Edinburgh their involvement was at different levels.
Larwood of Moray Place, Kirkintilloch, and Maxwell, of Millersneuk Crescent, Glasgow, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine last September 17.
