KILMARNOCK'S Momo Sylla last night set his sights on helping his new club to the CIS Insurance Cup Final with a second win over Falkirk in four days.

The 29-year-old Guinean midfielder is enjoying life back in the Scottish game after signing on a free transfer from Leicester City earlier this month.

The former St Johnstone and Celtic star played his third game for Jim Jefferies' side in Saturday's impressive 2-0 victory over the Bairns.

It is a result that bodes well ahead of the semi-final meeting tomorrow night.

Certainly, Sylla senses a great chance to reach Hampden and cap what has so far been a disappointing season after injury and poor form blighted his time at the Walkers Stadium.

He said: "When I knew Kilmarnock were interested, I wanted to work with the manager and have had a good reception from the players.

"I was injured before I came here, for six weeks, just training two or three days. But my fitness is starting to come back and it'll maybe be another week or two to be 100%.

"We were delighted with three points on Saturday and now it's a chance for a medal this season.

"But tomorrow is a different game and anything can happen over 90 minutes. To play in the CIS Cup Final is something that will be very good for the club."

Dundee United defender Sean Dillon is sure Jon Daly will soon break his scoring duck for the Tannadice club.

Saturday's goalless draw against Dunfermline means Daly has played four matches for the Terrors since his switch from Hartlepool but has yet to find the net.

However, Dillon said of his fellow Irishman: "Jon will soon get his first goal and kick on from there."

Despite gaining a point, the result means Dunfermline remain anchored at the bottom of the SPL, eight points behind St Mirren.
