FAIRTRADE status has been given to East Renfrewshire Council.
The award recognises the work the council has done to promote Fairtrade across the authority.
Patricia Ferguson, MSP responsible for International Development, said: "I would like to congratulate everyone who has contributed to this achievement."
East Renfrewshire Council has published a booklet detailing the best places to buy Fairtrade products in the area.
Fairtrade helps farmers and producers in developing countries get decent prices for their products.
