KIDS in North Glasgow had their faces painted to enjoy a street party.
William Johnston, Robyn Hutchison, Catherine Johnston and Jennifer Duru were among those making the most of a family fun day in Springburn.
Mansel Street has recently seen the construction of 42 new homes and the Glasgow Housing Association organised the day to lay down the foundations of a real community spirt.
Residents, along with those living in North Glasgow Housing Association properties overlooking the new homes, were invited along to Syriam Gardens.
Schoolchildren enjoyed a bouncy castle and there was also a face painting area.
Local dance group the Springburn Sparklers performed cheerleading routines and Springburn Fire Station gave youngsters a look inside a real fire engine.
There was also healthy food, and a community raffle.
