THIS month's charity Oxjam events means there is everything from choirs to wannabe-DJ iPod nights, gigs from some of Glasgow's greatest living indie legends and a 12-hour "buskathon" in the city.

The real eyecatcher is the Postcard Records tribute night at Mono this Sunday, with the BMX Bandits, The Poems and Wake The President all on the bill.

But there are loads more gigs, with what looks to be pretty much every unsigned band in Glasgow doing their bit for Oxfam.

Nationally, the target is to raise a million quid to help fund the charity's work.
