Former Manchester United and Rangers defender Henning Berg wants to be considered for the vacant manager's job at Hibs.
Berg is keen to move into British football management and, despite having been axed as boss of Lillestrom, his stock remains high in Scandinavia.
"I enjoyed my time in the UK as a player and would love to return in a managerial capacity," said Berg.
"The Hibs job is very attractive – I know they have great facilities. I'd love to speak to them."
Meantime, former Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline boss Jimmy Calderwood has also confirmed interest in the Hibs job.
He said: "It's a very, very well run club but there's something wrong and I don't know what it is. I think it's got to be an experienced manager. Everything's virtually there."
