POLICE are appealing for information after a pensioner was seriously injured in a Glasgow road crash.
The 77-year-old woman was crossing Springburn Road, near to the junction with Petershill Road in the north-east of the city, when she was hit by a Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling north at 3.40pm yesterday.
The pensioner was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and was said to be in a critical condition. The 33-year-old driver was uninjured.
