GERMANY: The BayernLB bank wants £248million in damages from Formula One motor racing boss Bernie Ecclestone over a deal in 2005 to sell its stake in Formula One.
Information from the trial this summer of Gerhard Gribkowsky, BayernLB's former chief risk officer, has subsequently led the Munich-based lender to conclude it had sold its F1 stake on the cheap.
But Mr Ecclestone said he had not offered to settle.
Asked if he was prepared to go to court, he said, "Yeah, absolutely."
