MUSIC legend Peter Gabriel will perform at Glasgow's new £125million music venue next year.
The singer will play the Hydro on October 24, just over a month after the venue opens to the public.
The ex-Genesis star is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his landmark multi-platinum solo album, So.
He will perform the album in full with the original live band.
So includes Gabriel's hits Sledgehammer and Don't Give Up which features Kate Bush.
Tickets will be available to fanclub members from tomorrow at 9am before going on general sale on Friday.
American rock band Matchbox 20 have also pencilled in a Glasgow date next year.
The band, who have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, will play the O2 Academy on April 21 and tickets will go on sale on Friday.
Manchester band James will play a city gig in the same month, backed by Echo and the Bunnymen.
James are best known for the hits Come Home, Sit Down and She's a Star.
Lead singer Tim Booth said: "It is with great pleasure that we announce our Gathering Sound April tour with the legendary Echo and the Bunnymen as our very special guests."
They will play Glasgow's SECC on April 13 and tickets go on sale on Friday.
