GLASGOW film writer Brian Hannan will give a special talk on one of Britain's most successful directors.
He will discuss Alfred Hitchcock's greatest films, including Rear Window, Vertigo and The Birds, at the Oxfam Bookshop in Byres Road on Thursday next week.
The talk will centre on themes discussed in his book Darkness Visible: Hitchcock's Greatest Film.
One of the main themes will be the controversy surrounding The Birds actress Tippi Hedren, with whom Hitchcock was said to have been obsessed.
