A YOUNG man was rushed to hospital after becoming trapped under the cab of a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, shortly after 9am today.
The man, in his 20s, is thought to work at Alex Inglis and Co vehicle repair centre.
It is understood he was working under the lorry cab when the accident happened.
When emergency services arrived on scene the man had already been removed from under the vehicle.
He was taken to Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride with suspected injuries to his back and neck, which are not believed to be life threatening.
The incident happened near the repair centre, in Birdsfield Works, just off Main Street.
