ONE of the women found seriously injured in a hotel this morning has died.
Police swooped on the Premier Inn on James Watt Way at around 7am after the two guests were discovered in one of the rooms.
Both were rushed to Inverclyde Royal Hospital but it is understood that one has now died.
A heavy police presence remained at the hotel this afternoon and dozens of uniformed officers and detectives were at the scene.
Officers wearing forensic suits were also spotted entering and leaving the hotel.
