ART lovers are being given a rare chance to see work by a "painting master".
A solo exhibition of Glasgow-born Robert Kelsey's work will run at the Lemond Gallery in Bearsden, from October 4-13.
It is his first exhibition in the Glasgow area for 20 years and will feature landscape paintings of the West of Scotland and Venice.
Gallery owner Ken Lemond said: "In Kelsey you are looking at one of the great painting masters of our generation - he uses his painterly skills to create artistic classics that will endure and enjoy artistic longevity and recognition."
Kelsey was born in Glasgow in 1949.
He attended Glasgow School of Art and after graduating embarked on a career in art education.
He switched to become a full-time artist in 1995, with successful exhibitions in Britain, Europe and the United States. In 1998, he was awarded a diploma from Paisley Art Institute.
