COMMUNITY groups across Glasgow have been recognised with a prestigious award.
A total of 11 groups, including Craigton Residents Action Group and Friends of Rosshall Park and Gardens, from Glasgow, won 'green' It's Your Neighbourhood accolades at the awards ceremony run by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
Wellington Allotment Gardens Association from Inverclyde and three groups from West Dunbartonshire were also recognised at the ceremony in Stirling.
The It's Your Neighbourhood campaign supports groups who are cleaning up their local areas.
Derek Robertson, chief executive of Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: "I would like to congratulate everyone who is involved in these projects, and would also like to commend the groups for helping to make Glasgow, Inverclyde and West Dunbartonshire, and Scotland a cleaner, greener place for us all to enjoy."
